Marc Pearl Hairdressing, in Cuckfield, is the second salon to open by business owners Marc Ranson, Adam Pearl and Ross Lambert, who launched their first in Haywards Heath over five years ago. The trio who met while working at Toni and Guy have joined heads to open their new salon where they will be based above Jimmy’s Barbers at the top of the high street. “We currently have 12 members of staff members that will work across both salons. We chose Cuckfield as a location as we have always really liked the village and felt we could bring something different to our customers; high level hairdressing at a reasonable price,” said Marc. “The fit out of the Cuckfield salon took about three months to complete but now we’re here we’re really looking forward to welcoming our customers and hoping to maybe pick up a few more along the way.” Marc Pearl Hairdressing is open Tuesday to Friday, from 9am until 6pm, and on Saturdays from 8am until 4pm.

Local trader and much loved Cuckfield barber, Jimmy’s has relocated. But people needn’t be alarmed. He’s only moved up the road. “That’s right; we’re now at the top of village to where Neilson Boutique used to be. It’s in a prime spot, and it’s a much bigger space, so it’ll serve us and our customers well. We’d been in that little place for a good few years and it was brilliant for business, but with the pandemic now well and truly behind us, I wanted somewhere that gave our customers more room to relax and to give them a better overall barbershop experience.” Jimmy who first opened his original barbershop in Cuckfield in 2018 has taken his staff and long list of clients with him to his new premises. “Now my new place is finally open, I’m really looking forward to working with my team, welcoming customers, old and new to the fresh look salon.”
