Cuckfield Village Show - 10th September 2016

The annual Cuckfield Village Show is organised by The Cuckfield Society in the grounds of the magnificent Cuckfield Park. This year's show takes place on Saturday 10th September. 

Here's a list of categories, entry forms must be submitted at Wealden Stores, Cuckfield Candy Store, Anne Morrison at Covert, Broad Street or Trish Denyer at Holy Trinity School by 3pm on 7th September 2016.


HORTICULTURAL

 VEGETABLES

  1. 6 runner Beans
  2. Longest runner bean
  3. 6 french beans
  4. 4 white Potatoes
  5. 4 coloured potatoes
  6. Heaviest potato
  7. Heaviest pumpkin
  8. A pumpkin or squash not exceeding 45cm in size

  7. Mixed perennials – 6 stems, not shrubs (min 3 varieties)

FLORAL ART

All exhibits maximum 60cm width/depth

  1. “Rio Carnival” – an arrangement using any materials or accessories
  2. “Gone Fishing” – for men only – an arrangement using any materials and accessories

 FOOD & DRINK

  1. The Katie Stewart Cup - Katie’s Chocolate Pecan Crumb Cake – to recipe given in schedule
  2. Mrs Beaton’s lemon biscuits – to recipe given
  3. A marble loaf cake
  4. A decorated chocolate sponge cake
  5. Afternoon tea for two, maximum size 40cm
  6. 3 iced finger buns
  7. A vegetarian quiche (home made pastry)
